Q: Do you create custom designs from scratch?
A: Yes! We love working on custom projects. Email us your ideas, artwork, or reference images, and we'll work with you to create the perfect decal. Note: We cannot reproduce copyrighted images.

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Most orders ship within 1-3 business days. Standard USPS delivery takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. All orders include tracking.

Q: Can I apply polyurethane or clear coat over the decals?
A: Absolutely! Our vinyl is compatible with polyurethane and clear coat applications, making them perfect for cornhole boards and other surfaces that need extra protection.

Q: Will the decals damage my paint or surface?
A: No. Our vinyl uses a removable adhesive that won't damage properly cured paint or most surfaces when removed correctly. Follow our removal instructions for best results.

Installation

Q: Are the decals hard to install?
A: Not at all! Most customers successfully install their decals on the first try. Each order includes detailed instructions, and we have video tutorials available on our Installation Instructions page.

Q: What tools do I need for installation?
A: For most installations, you'll need:

  • Squeegee or credit card
  • Rubbing alcohol for cleaning
  • Masking tape (for larger decals)
  • Spray bottle with soapy water (for wet method, optional)

A squeegee tool is included with most orders.

Q: Can I reposition the decal if I make a mistake?
A: During installation, you have a brief window to adjust the decal before the adhesive fully sets. For larger decals, we recommend the wet application method which gives you more time to position perfectly.

Q: What temperature is best for installation?
A: Install decals between 50-90°F for best results. Avoid extreme heat or cold, and don't install in direct sunlight.

Q: How do I measure for the right size?
A: Measure the area where you want to place the decal (height x width). For RVs and vehicles, measure the specific panel or area. If you're unsure, send us photos and measurements, and we'll help you determine the perfect size.

Q: What size cornhole decals do I need?
A: Standard cornhole boards are 24" x 48". Our cornhole decals are sized to fit standard boards perfectly. If you have custom-sized boards, let us know your dimensions.

Q: Do your RV decals fit my specific RV model?
A: We offer various sizes to fit most RVs. Measure your existing decals or the space where you want them placed, and we'll ensure you get the right fit.

Q: What are etched glass decals?
A: Our etched glass vinyl creates the appearance of professionally etched glass at a fraction of the cost. They're perfect for shower doors, windows, cabinet doors, and decorative glass applications.

Q: Can you see through etched glass decals?
A: Yes! The frosted vinyl provides privacy while still allowing light to pass through. The effect looks like real etched glass.

Q: How do I clean surfaces with etched glass decals?
A: Clean gently with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads that could damage the vinyl.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50! For orders under $50, standard UPS shipping rates apply based on your location.

Q: Will I get a tracking number?
A: Yes! All orders ship with UPS tracking and insurance. You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.

Q: My tracking hasn't updated. What should I do?
A: UPS tracking sometimes has delays in scanning. If your tracking hasn't updated in 3-4 days, please contact us and we'll investigate.

Q: What if my decal arrives damaged?
A: All orders are shipped with insurance. If your decal arrives damaged, send us photos within 48 hours and we'll send a replacement immediately at no charge.

Q: What if I ordered the wrong size or color?
A: Contact us right away! If we haven't shipped yet, we can modify your order. If it's already shipped, we'll work with you to make it right.

Q: What is your satisfaction guarantee?
A: We stand behind our products 100%. If you're not happy with your decal for any reason, we'll make it right—whether that's a replacement, refund, or helping you find a solution.

Q: What file format should I send for custom artwork?
A: Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG) work best, but we can also work with high-resolution images (.PNG, .JPG) at 300 DPI minimum. Email artwork to info@stickerchef.com.

Q: Can you recreate my RV's old decal design?
A: Often, yes! Send us clear photos of your existing decals from multiple angles, and we'll work to match the design. Note: We cannot reproduce trademarked or copyrighted designs.

Q: Do you charge for design work?
A: No! Design consultations and previews are free with your order.
